Team Sinclair
It took 3 games but only 16 ends for Manotick’s Bantam Boy’s team to secure their spot in  this weekend’s OCA Regional playdowns.  Skip Neil Sinclair, third Graham Rathwell, second Andrew Hamilton and lead Tom Clement, won the A side of the Zone 2 playdown held at the RCN (Navy) Curling Club this past weekend. They  defeated Devan Barr of Perth 15-0 and Ben Miskew of the Rideau 5-3. In the final they met Greg Mountenay from Almonte and shook after 4 ends with a score of 9-1. Ben Miskew went on to win the B side.

The team will be practicing every day this week in preparation for the Regionals  this weekend. The top two teams will advance to the Provincial Finals to be held at South Muskoka with a chance to participate in the Ontario Winter Games. Good luck to Team Sinclair and their coach Graham Sinclair.
